Open Settings › Daily reminder in the app and switch it on. The first time, your phone will ask permission to show notifications — tap Allow. A time row then appears; the default is 7:00 pm, and you can tap it to pick any time you like.

Almost always it's the notification permission. Check, in order:

1. In the app, confirm Settings › Daily reminder is on and a time is set.
2. On your phone, open Settings › Masterquestion › Notifications and make sure Allow Notifications is on.
3. Check that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing it at that hour.

If you tapped "Don't Allow" when first asked, iOS won't ask again — you'll need to enable notifications from your phone's Settings using step 2, then toggle the reminder off and on once inside the app.

Your reflections live only on your device, in the app's private storage. They are never uploaded, and no one — not even us — can see them. Masterquestion has no account and makes no network calls. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Because everything stays on-device, your entries move only if they're part of your encrypted Apple device backup (iCloud or a computer backup). Restoring a new iPhone from that backup brings the app's data with it. There is no separate cloud sync in the app itself — that's a deliberate privacy choice.

In the Journal tab, swipe a reflection to delete it (you'll get a confirm step first). To remove a kept question, tap the heart again on the card, or swipe it in the Kept list. Deleting the app removes everything permanently.

Every question is marked Light, Open, or Deep. Deep questions ask for real vulnerability, so they stay hidden until you opt in — during onboarding, or anytime via Settings › Deep questions. When playing with others, the idea is that everyone agrees first, and anyone can pass on any question, always.

Open Settings › Language and choose from English, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch, Spanish, French, or Chinese — or "System default" to follow your phone. The whole app, including every question, switches instantly.

Yes to offline, no to accounts. Masterquestion works fully with no internet connection, and there's nothing to sign up for. All 132 questions across six decks are built in.

Check that Settings › Haptic feedback is on in the app, and that your phone's Settings › Sounds & Haptics has system haptics enabled. Haptics are only felt on a physical iPhone, not in a simulator.
